So everything's been going smoothly so far. On the Fourth of July I was busy. A gated-type community decided that they wanted to have the marching band play in their neighborhood for the 4th, so my band director(?) asked me to arrange it over the summer. So i called up a bunch of band member and ended up putting together a marching band of only four people. (Including myself) In the end it payed off and all of the rich people in the community liked it a lot, so they donated to us! I'm not sure how much they donated though.
After that I went to another band fund-raiser. We were selling concessions for the Symphony's 4th of July concert. We got a lot of customers, so I felt we did much good.

I also have a robotics thing coming up on Saturday. It is a fair type thing where lots of activities are held and all of that neat stuff. There are going to be skirmishes, or fake matches between the different team's robots, except our poor robot mysteriously stopped working during Seafest, so it's likely our robot will just be used as a display item with a mustache (Yes, the robot has a mustache) unless something miraculous happens and it starts to work again.

There is a catch to this festival. It's going to be in the 80's where we're headed, and while this may not sound like much to most people, where I am from, temperature in the 80's are painful to sit in. (We usually can only handle 50-60F) The make matters worth is my clothing. Unlike most people, I don't really have clothing such as t-shirts, shorts, or sandals. Unlike many people, I generally wear the same clothing year round (Turtleneck coat, casual shirt, full pants), so I'm most likely going to spontaneously combust (hmm, Mozilla says combust isn't a word) from the heat. Oh well, I should be fine as long as I bring lots of water, and/or, an ice pack.
I also feeling drawing attention to our team, I feel like bring my flute and/or trumpet and making some music (noise) in our pit, and possibly start playing Never Gonna Give You Up.

I probably shouldn't wear a coat to this...
